Cinecorp started in 1998 with a 12 minutes black and white short film shot on 16mm that has already gained a place as a “classic” of Peruvian cinema and which was very well received in the international film festival circuit: “The Mattress”, directed by Daniel Rofríguez.

Since then, Cinecorp has produced tree other short films: “The Winner”, “Moor” and “The gold tooth” by Daniel Ró, and has acquired two shorts for international distribution: “ 303” , by Eduardo Mendoza , and “Enlightenment”, from Thai director Tanon Sattarujawong .

You could say that Cinecorp has gained his good name thanks to the worldwide success of its short films.

Since 2006 Cinecorp has ventured into feature films with “The Watercolorist”, by Daniel Rodríguez, which premiered on November 2008, being selected into important International festivals, such as the World Film Festival of Bangkok, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, the Chicago Latino Film Festival and the Sidney Latin American Film Festival, among others.

The production of a suspense thriller is scheduled for 2010, directed by Daniel Rodríguez.
